Welcome fellow stargazers to the Open Doors Cosmic Cupcake Update for March 2010

By Cole

Everyone knows the saying "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb"-right? I say this is not necessarily the case for March this year. The full moon in Virgo (28th 0f February) is not one to really roar. Clean out the garage and donate to Good Will (and stop by the health food store while doing errands)- now thats a more Virgoan approach. Or...the exact opposite( and as many Virgos are all too aware)-a messy life can have problematic consequences.Virgo sometimes gets a bad wrap as it (as well as Scorpio and Pisces) have been dubbed the fated signs of the zodiac. But without the ever present , hard working, detail oriented Virgos of the world; the well oiled machine could sputter and seize. This month be sure to take care of yourself. Take a nap, an organic multi-vitamin and a long cleansing breath! The planet Mercury enters Pisces as the moon is full. This Mercury placement is in detriment (astrologically that means the expression of this transit is with difficulty). Those with a highly developed psychic or artistic side bode well as this is an extremly sensitive placement for the planet of expression and communication. But our thinking can become clouded and pertinent info can be concealed by the watery depths of the last of the water signs-Pisces. Dont allow people to mistake your kindness for weakness and be truthful. And of course-Be happy. Until next month-Peace and Happy Stars

The sun is transiting through the philanthropic, humanitarian sign of Aquarius. This 11th house air sign is as captivating and as brilliant as the icy squalls of winter. We bundle up against the cold (Aquarius rules the bodies internal thermostat-the circulatory system) and focus on our unconventional progressive approach to life. Quiet reflection allows us to change what hasn't been of benefit to us. The sign rules advanced thought, acceptance, friends, and values of science and extrasensory power. Couple this energy with the newly entered Jupiter in Pisces and we submerge ourselves in the depths of the cosmic ocean. For all you lovers out there the moon is also in the super sensitive and sweet sign of Pisces on Valentines Day-all heart and soul .Write a love song or poem. Read your loves cards. If we use the laws of attraction in a positive manner than this placement allows us to benefit form pursuits in the occult and psychic research in general. Need books, supplies, incense and crystals to accompany you on a magic carpet ride- see the beautiful selection at Open doors. This planetary transit rules remarkable phenomena and prophetic visions. Light a candle, take several deep breaths and believe that the silence of winter allows us to hear whispers of Peace. Full moon in Virgo on the 28th-more on that next time. Until next month Peace and Happy stars. Cole

Happy New Year to all! A full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Cancer (water sign that represents sentimentality, mother and nourishing body and soul) we rang in 2010 ;emotions and food-thats how Cancerians roll. Nows the time to welcome the fresh and unexpected. A second eclipse follows in Capricorn (pleasure doing business) on 15 January. Make an effort to peel back from situations that drain your energy. Despite the fact that this month has two power packed eclipses that can generate alot of activity -the planet Mercury is Retrograde (see Nov 09 for more Retrograde info.). When the planet that stimulates thought, facilitates dialouge and relates ideas and concepts is in retrograde motion (through 15 Jan) the Universe is telling us to take matters slowly. REdo and REview and REvise are terms that are RElated to this cycle. Next month we'll be discussing Jupiters entry into the soulful sign of Pisces that occurs at months end which is also the Full Moon in Leo (30 January 10). Until next month Peace and Happy Stars, Cole

Welcome fellow stargazers to the Open Doors Cosmic Cupcake Update for December 2009

The sun is transiting through the sporting and enthusiastic sign of Sagittarius. Centaurs think, dream, spend and live large. Ruled by the lordly planet Jupiter, Sagittarius is a mutable fire sign and its yearly transit is indeed a time when the masses are purchasing, wrapping,cooking,mailing.etc. Add to this holiday time a Full moon in Gemini on 2 December 2009 and communications of all kinds are running at top speed; and it may very well be two distinct big things happening at once (Gemini is the sign of the twins). It can be a bit hectic so try to remain organized and rested. These two signs are famous for restless energy so adopt a more proactive attitude about eating healthy and getting fresh air and exercise to keep your physical and mental health balanced. The planet Uranus goes direct this week on the same day as the full moon and that will aid you in clearing up matters that are uncertain and have lacked insight and/or resolution. The happy go lucky entry of Venus into Sagittarius on that day as well make the start of the month of December busy, bright and full of potential. Sagittarius is a very spiritually inclined sign so try to incorporate time in your life for gratitude, kindness and prayer. Donate money or time to those in need;animal shelters, homeless shelters and churches greatly appreciate donations at holiday time to spread joy and help. Gestures such as these remind us to be grateful for all that we have. Happy Holidays to all. Until next month I wish you peace and happy stars. Cole

Welcome fellow stargazers to the Open Doors Cosmic Cupcake Update for November 2009

By Cole

The planet Neptune resumes direct motion in the sign of Aquarius on 4 November 2009. It retrogrades every year for about 6 months. The word retrograde literally means "backwards'. A planet does'nt actually slide into reverse and back up-thats merely how it appears to us on planet Earth. The energy of that planet can be confusing whilst retrograde;but its also a productive time to go back and review and revise our activities. Neptune rules notions of nostalgia and magic. It also rules drugs and alcohol, and poisons and viruses. Neptune in Aquarius when expressing itself well is concerned with deep feelings of the heart, artistry, music and poetry. In the less developed personality it can be deceitful and shiftless. So rather than getting snockered with the rent money because you are upset or overworked; challenge yourself to take the contemplative and ethical approach to your problems. Prayer, painting, dancing or perhaps a card reading (I can reccomend a wonderful place!) are a nice healthy way to work out our issues in a fun and creative manner. Until next week wishing you peace and happy stars. Cole

Even if you dont understand the astrological ramifications of Saturn changing signs perhaps you have a sense that big changes are on the horizon. Tune into that feeling. On Thursday 29 October 2009 at 1:09 PM Saturn says farewell to Virgo and enters the sign of Libra. In this sign Saturn is exalted. An exalted planet is considerate, contemplative responsible and serious. In Libra these charateristics affect our marriages, intimate relationships contracts and partnerships. It is abundantly helpful to know ones rising sign to determine Saturns exact house placement (ask Mom or Dad or Nana-or consult your birth certificate-to find out your exact birth time). There is a full moon in Taurus on 2 November 2009. Here the moon is exalted. Taurus rules the 5 senses-touch,taste,sound,smell and sight. So bake some chocolate chip cookies and spread warm and fuzzy feelings of trustworthiness, composure and steadfastness . Call up an old friend, visit a nursing home or hang with a little kid and have silly fun or some hugs and laughter. The more love you give away the more love you get back. Have a safe and treat filled Halloween. Until next week wishing you peace and happy stars. Cole

Welcome fellow stargazers to the Open Doors Cosmic Cupcake Update for September 2009

The sun is prepping for it's yearly entry into Scorpio on Thursday 22 Oct. 2009. Scorpio is secretive, seductive and amazingly capable of transforming our lives. This is happening days after a New Moon in Libra. Libra is courteous and uses balanced ideas and words to communicate. Mercury is also in Libra so the emphasis is duly noted on legal and relationship issues. Also-the celestial taskmaster Saturn is entering Libra in November inspiring us to express intense feelings with discipline and charm. This is an important time because the vibe we create in our lives now will be with us for the next 3 years as Saturn teaches it's lessons of responsibility and ethics-are all you ;Librans in particular- ready? Saturn always leaves a gift after a transit so be prepared to learn (sometimes in the school of hard knocks if you are not paying attention to the lesson) and use the new knowledge to better your life and the important relationships that are a part of it. Until next week I wish you Peace and Happy Stars, Cole For astrological charts and readings please contact Open Doors (781) 843-8224 for an appointment.
